Salted Caramel Chocolate Dates

These Salted Caramel Chocolate Dates are the perfect sweet and chewy little treat. Made with minimal ingredients, and packed with flavour, these indulgent bites are nourishing and delectable.

Dark chocolate, nuts, and dates are naturally great dietary sources of magnesium, especially when paired with with CanPrev’s Magnesium 50 Liposomal, in a salted caramel flavour. Ingredients

• 6 Medjool dates
• 100g of dark chocolate
• 6 pecan halves
• 2 teaspoons natural peanut butter
• Pinch of salt
• 3 tsp Magnesium 50 Liposomal

Directions

1. In a small bowl, combine Magnesium 50 Liposomal with the peanut butter.

2. Open and deseed each date, being careful not to completely separate the two halves.

3. Using a small spoon, stuff each date with the magnesium peanut butter mixture and freeze the stuffed dates for about 10 minutes.

4. While the dates are in the freezer, melt dark chocolate in a double boiler over medium heat.

5. Dip the stuffed dates into the melted chocolate one-by- one, making sure to generously coat each side with chocolate. Place them on a parchment-lined pan.

6. Sprinkle with salt and freeze for 20 minutes or until the chocolate has set before enjoying.

Storage Instructions: store in the freezer for up to 3 weeks.
