Ready, set, snack on these sweet gut-healing Date Snowballs!

This recipe will be the star snack of any holiday gathering, with delicious dates, cacao, and coconut. The best part? We snuck in CanPrev’s Fibre Feel, Collagen Full Spectrum Powder, and Magnesium 50 Liposomal for extra gut support.

Ingredients

  • 15 medjool dates
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • ½ cup coconut flour
  • ⅓ cup tahini, or nut butter
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 2 scoops Fibre Feel
  • 2 scoops Collagen Full Spectrum Powder
  • 2 tbsp Magnesium 50 Liposomal
  • Optional: 1 scoop plant-based protein

Directions

  1. Pre-soak dates in hot water until they soften, minimum of 1 hour, or overnight.
  2. In a food processor, blend softened dates until a smooth paste. Add nut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil, and pulse until smooth.
  3. Add remaining ingredients, except for shredded coconut, and pulse until smooth and malleable dough forms. If dough is too wet, add more flour. If dough is too dry, add more coconut oil.
  4. Roll into bite-sized balls, about 1 heaping tbsp each. Roll in shredded coconut to coat, and set in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
