Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Do you need the perfect cozy beverage to warm your hands and soul this winter?

Look no further – we’ve got you covered with this delicious Peppermint Hot Chocolate to soothe your cravings, while keeping your gut and immune system healthy and strong! This recipe features CanPrev’s Myco10 Powder, L-Glutamine Powder, and optional Collagen Full Spectrum Powder for an extra nutritional boost.

Ingredients

  • 1 can full fat coconut milk
  • 4-5 cups non-dairy milk of choice
  • 4 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 1 tsp mint extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1⁄4 tsp salt
  • 1⁄2 bar of dark chocolate, for extra richness
  • Handful of plant-based marshmallows
  • 2 scoops Myco10 Powder
  • 2 scoops L-Glutamine Powder
  • Optional: 2 scoops Collagen Full Spectrum Powder

Directions

  1. Warm non-dairy milk in a saucepan on medium heat, and scoop in the thick, creamy portion of the coconut milk. Stir until well combined and steaming.
  2. Whisk in the powders, followed by the liquids, one by one until dissolved.
  3. Add in chocolate and continue to heat until melted, and the mixture begins to gently bubble.
  4. Divide the hot chocolate into four mugs, and top with marshmallows. Enjoy immediately!
