Your liver is a powerhouse organ involved in many essential processes, including filtering blood, producing bile, and storing nutrients. Bile is a yellow-green fluid produced in the liver that helps break down fats and absorb fat-soluble vitamins. Without healthy bile quantity and flow, digestion can slow and fat absorption may be impaired. Symptoms like bloating and indigestion may indicate the digestive system needs extra support.
Supporting healthy liver function can be approached through lifestyle, diet, and supplementation. Limiting alcohol intake, maintaining a healthy weight, and eating foods rich in antioxidants, protein, and healthy fats are all ways to support liver health.
CanPrev’s Healthy Liver is a synergistic blend of liver-supporting nutrients. It is formulated with milk thistle, traditionally used in herbal medicine as a liver protectant. The formula is also used in herbal medicine to help increase bile flow and relieve digestive upset such as indigestion. It contains NAC and broccoli extract as sources of antioxidants, along with curcuminoids from turmeric. Choline, inositol, L-methionine, and schisandra provide additional support. Selenium and other minerals support biological functions for the maintenance of good health.
