Miso Mushroom Savoury Oats

Start your day with a savoury twist! Our Miso Mushroom Savoury Oats combine hearty rolled oats with umami-rich miso paste and CanPrev’s L-Tyrosine Vegan Amino Acid powder for a brain-boosting kick. Topped with sautéed mushrooms, avocado, a hard-boiled egg and crunchy sesame seeds, it’s the perfect blend of flavours and nutrients to kick start your day!

Ingredients
Savoury Oats
- ¾ cup water
- ½ cup sliced mushrooms
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 2 tsp miso paste
- 2 tsp dark soy sauce
- pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 scoop L- Tyrosine Vegan Amino Acid powder
Toppings
- Mushrooms
- Hard boiled egg
- Green onions
- Avocado
- Sesame seeds
- Pickled onion
- Edamame
Directions
- Sauté your mushroom slices in a pan, adding soy sauce and garlic powder. Once they are done, set aside.
- Add the oats and water to a pot and boil until the oats are soft and the water is absorbed or microwave for 2 minutes on high. (If oats seem dry, add more water and continue cooking.)
- Stir in the salt, miso paste, L-Tyrosine Vegan Amino Acid powder and almond butter. Mix thoroughly.
- Serve the oats in a bowl and top with mushrooms, sliced avocado, hard boiled egg, pickled onion, and edamame.
