High-Fibre Detox Falafels

This High-Fibre Detox Falafel recipe is a delicious fibre-boosted and gluten-free take inspired by the classic Middle Eastern staple.
Each serving is packed with nutrition and fibre from CanPrev’s Fibre Feel to support gut health, digestion, and detoxification. Combined with the fibre from the chickpeas and fresh herbs like parsley, mint, and cilantro, these falafels help to bind toxins and metabolic wastes to be safely eliminated. Enjoy with your favourite pita bread and tzatziki.

Ingredients
- 1 cup dried chickpeas, soaked overnight
- 1 cup fresh parsley
- ¾ cup fresh cilantro
- ½ cup fresh mint
- ½ cup red onion, roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp almond flour
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1½ tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- Avocado oil for frying
- 3 scoops Fibre Feel
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor except almond flour and Fibre Feel.
- Pulse until a course, sand-like texture is achieved.
- With a spatula, scoop the falafel mixture into a medium-sized mixing bowl, and fold in almond flour and Fibre Feel by hand.
- Let chill in the fridge for 30 to 60 minutes.
- Form into 12 patties, and pan-fry with avocado oil on medium heat until golden on both sides.
- Serve with your favourite pita bread and tzatziki.
Storage Instructions: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
