Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Indulge in these hormone-balancing Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. They’re perfect for fighting cravings and promoting healthy mood balance.

How? Dark chocolate is a known mood-booster that works by elevating serotonin levels in the brain. Combined with CanPrev’s Myo-Inositol powder, this recipe also balances blood glucose levels and neurotransmitter receptor sensitivity, for those sweet, sweet mood, hormonal, and metabolic benefits. Ingredients

  • 160g dark chocolate, chopped into pieces
  • 4 tbsp smooth peanut butter
  • 2 tsp avocado oil
  • Sprinkle of sea salt
  • 6 scoops Myo-Inositol

Directions

  1. In a double boiler, combine chocolate and avocado oil, and melt mixture over medium heat. Set aside.
  2. In a separate small bowl, warm peanut butter for 30 seconds to soften. Mix in Myo-Inositol powder.
  3. Drop melted chocolate by the teaspoonful into a silicon chocolate mold, or mini paper cups. Reserve the remaining chocolate for the last layer. Freeze for another 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from freezer and divide the peanut butter inositol mixture among the 12 chocolates. Freeze for another 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from freezer and pour the remaining chocolate over top the peanut butter just to cover. Sprinkle with salt and return to freezer for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove the chocolates from the mold and enjoy.

Storage Instructions: store in the fridge or freezer for up to  3 weeks.
