I started racing snowboardcross at the age of 22 with no prior coaching or training. I learned how to snowboard at the age of 10, but only rode at a very recreational level. After going through early adult years in the most typical way, partying and losing touch with my true self, I remembered my childhood dream to compete in snowboarding. Realizing my passion for going fast while snowboarding, and remembering how fun it is to watch snowboardcross in the Olympics I decided this would be my discipline. I went all in on myself, hopeful of an Olympic qualification and an eventual medal. Now 7 years later, earning the title of Canadian National Champion twice, earning the North American Cup winner title in 2023 and achieving a top 9 result in Les Deux Alpes World Cup in 2024, I’m well on my way to my goals. I hope to inspire those in competitive sport and in their regular lives to unapologetically go after their passion, regardless of their age or current circumstances.

Off the Clock
I really like to take a "do-nothing-day" once a week during my intense summer training (I literally do nothing, often taking a nap or just laying on the couch in silence) This practice is vital to my well-being and continued drive. I also like to mountain bike, hang out by the lake & get into a colouring book or crafts from time to time.
