Saccharomyces Boulardii
- Provides 5 billion CFU of Saccharomyces boulardii
- A probiotic yeast that can be taken in tandem with antibiotics
- Helps to reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea
The digestive system is home to a rich microbiome of bacteria and microorganisms. When antibiotics are used, they not only fight harmful infections, they can also disrupt the balance of beneficial microbes in the gut, which may lead to diarrhea. Saccharomyces boulardii is a probiotic yeast. Unlike probiotic bacteria, it is not affected by antibiotics, making it suitable to take alongside antibiotic treatment.
CanPrev’s Saccharomyces Boulardii provides 5 billion CFU per capsule and helps to reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea.
